My sister and I were invited to the Beyond Bath Organics launch which was held at The Manila Hotel Spa last July 27, 2010. Alex and I are a strange duo. Raphael Patnubay Pagarigan's 2nd solo exhibition opened on July 24, 2010 at the Boston Gallery in Cubao, Quezon City. The artist is actually the brother of my colleague, Luna Pagarigan (Game Design and Development lecturer at Asia Pacific College).

I noticed that he uses very bold strokes in some parts and fine strokes in other parts of his paintings. Those who are already immersed in the (electronic) interactive arts industry would know Autodesk. Who in this field has not heard of Maya, AutoCAD and 3Ds Max? Last year, I attended an event at Greenbelt 5, also by Challenge Systems Inc., and they demonstrated Mudbox, a sculpting and texture painting software that was Autodesk's answer to Zbrush. Its capabilities gave me goosebumps.

Thank goodness, Christopher Nolan made THAT impossible. Inception was so riveting (and action packed!) I forgot that it was way past my bedtime. Edsa Shangri-La Plaza's cinemas and mall layout leave a lot to be desired (expensive ticket prices for movie titles that are not updated, confusing floor-by-floor navigation), there's one thing I love about this mall: how it consistently supports the arts. The topic was Joe Jackson's suit against AEG Live, the brains behind Michael Jackson's final concert. According to the complaints, AEG was responsible for Dr. Murray's hiring and that Dr. Murray was tasked to keep MJ drugged.
