Bishoujo Senshi SailorMoon is an anime that spans five seasons, having 200 episodes. It began in 1992 and ended in 1997. In the first season, SailorMoon had four other companions namely, SailorMercury of Ice and Water, SailorMars of fire, SailorJupiter of Thunder and Lightning, and SailorVenus of Love and Beauty. At the beginning of their quest, they were in search of the mythical Moon Princess Serenity and the magical Silver Crystal that was the legacy of the Moon Royal Family. These were the things they needed to get rid of the evil vermins that threatened the earth.

The last of the Solar System's Sailor Senshi appeared in the third season, thereby completing the Sailor Team. They were SailorPluto of Time, SailorUranus of the Wind and Sky, SailorNeptune of the Ocean, and SailorSaturn of Silence and Destruction. With all of the Senshi's powers combined they could form a force that would make SailorMoon's powers grow stronger, giving her the ability to eliminate the minds behind evil.
