We focus on the highlights of your wedding day as it happens. Our style involves
very few ‘formal’ pictures, or none at all. We don’t pose,
stage, and prompt our subjects whatsoever. We photograph each wedding differently
by capturing images that can make your wedding day a unique and a special
experience.

DECISIVEMOMENTS is a professional wedding photography company founded by veteran
photojournalist Miguel M. Cortez. The company will tap the services of the
country’s leading photojournalists to provide wedding photography for
couples interested in the reportage wedding photography or wedding photojournalism.
DecisiveMOMENTS does not represent those wedding photographers who claim that
they shoot photojournalistically.
The name DECISIVEMOMENTS was inspired by a phrase-concept from French photojournalist, Henry Cartier-Bresson who’s the originator of the phrase, “The Decisive Moment.” It simply means ‘’a dramatic climax of a picture where everything falls perfectly into place.”
COMPLETE COVERAGE
As photojournalists, we cover your wedding as if we are covering an assignment
for newspapers or magazines. Spontaneous reportage through pictures demands
unlimited imagery and unlimited coverage. Depending on the number of photographers,
it is common to consume 30 rolls of films (around 1,000 images) for 3 photojournalists.
