03.30.2002 Do As Infinity - Fondly called
DAI by fans all over Japan, is composed of Dai
Nagao, Van Tomiko, and Ryo Owatari. Releasing
4 albums and 12 singles since 1999, this jazz/motown-inspired
JROCK band has come a long way to become a household
name. >>> READ

03.23.2002 The daughter of genius violinist,
Jean Luc Ponty, young Clara comes out with her
own music that boosts her out of her father's
shadow. Individuality and world-class artistry
defines this second album. If you think piano
is only for the dead and the old, think again.

03.21.2001 Any cyberpunk anime fun should
not go on without knowing what this band is all
about. Famed throughout otaku-dom and Japan for
their opening act in Serial Experiments Lain's
Duvet, perhaps it's time to introduce their
music without the word "Lain" attached
to them. >>> READ

03.19.2002 In this issue, we pay tribute
to the late Aaliyah. Singer, actress...a woman
of awe-inspiring beauty and grace. And I never
would've discovered the experience of Aaliyah
had I not been an Anne Rice fan and saw how she
lit up Queen of the Damned (a rather poor
movie rendition of Anne Rice's beautifully crafted
story). >>> READ

Just a little rant about Tower Records: Why on earth
don't their online store have Original Pilipino Music
(OPM) selections??? There are a lot of new bands out
there with a great deal of talent and many of Coolay's
readers from abroad find it sucky that they have to
inconvenience relatives from here just to send stuff
out there, when all Tower has to do is put those titles
online so these fans can buy in peace! Tower Records,
I hope you ARE listening...
Update.07.06.2002 Coolay just opened its features
section and our very first offering is...SURPRISE! An
exclusive interview with Boa. Yes, Boa, the very same
band that performed Serial Experiments Lain's opening
them. Now go and read!
Update.03.23.2002 Just opened a Glossary
section for you peeps. I'm just going to anticipate
that some other reviewers might be too techy with their
terms. At least you would get a general idea as to what
they're talking about... Not that I'd expect outside
reviewers at this time. This site is yet too small to
make a noise (unlike my other site Hentai
Neko). Whew! Never realized there were so many musical
terms dancing in my head...Exhausted now @_@
Update.03.21.2002 I just had a crazy idea while
I was on my way to the office yesterday. Since the artist/album
index (a.k.a. the Archives) are still bare since I can't
decide which CDs in my collection I should review first,
I thought I'd do one opinion on one artist per alphabet
first. If only I hadn't deleted all my old music reviews
up at Purple Rhythm. Oh, btw, the About
section has just been updated (with no less than 100%
bitchiness from yours truly). Now with a list of sites
to go to and sites to avoid like the plague.

TRIVIA:
Did you know that you can drag the windows of the
menu (i.e. archives, shop, sisters) by clicking on the
top bar where the hand is indicated? You can also close
the menu winow by clicking on the bottom bar where X
is indicated.
Oh, and btw, this site is compatible with MSIE6. To
fully enjoy this site, you must not be using Netsuck.
On the other hand, I don't think it looks bad on Netsuck,
just inadequate.
