What's good about this service is that, since it doesn't just redirect, they
hide the original location of your web address by use of a URL framer, which
is another form of HTML. This way, search engines recognize the web address
as a separate entity, with its own META tags and page title -- not just a
simple redirector -- and lists the site as a separate entity. It's also useful
for those people who still have long URLs. It's a great and cheap way of personalizing
the URL of your site. Also, useful if you're one person who moves your site
around a lot! Just change the re-direction and your visitors and fans won't
have to change their links. Amazingly, it was the first time I encountered
a FREE web service that had great customer service. If you email them, they
are sure to respond to any questions, comments, suggestions, or criticisms.
I first wrote them regarding their not being able to support URL framing of
GeoCities sites, and they responded in a really friendly and helpful way.
