Throughout its pages, this has been for me a book on giftedness- a celebration of the giftedness of the Filipino that we so often hear less about even if they are most true. Dr. Biyo, along with other people whose wonderful works are told in this book, is living proof of the pure inspiration that when we put our heart totally in our silent work, the goodness that it will ultimately radiate can simply be stellar!

Dr. Josette Biyo is an educator through and through. She shows further proof that education is the main key to progress. Dr. Biyo's experience of hardship in her youth is acceptable if it happened in the early '50s, right after the war, but it should no longer be today or even during her time. Her life story makes one imagine what we Filipinos could achieve if all had access to good and principles-based education and other basic services.
