Dr. Josette Biyo is a teacher in the rural campus of the Philippine Science High School in Iloilo, Philippines. She holds a doctorate degree in Biology but earns less than $300 a month. Her selfless dedication to teaching and human development made her the winner of the 2002 Intel Excellence in Teaching Award.
