I never realized that I should have archived the marketing kits and presentations I made while I was working for Level Up! until one of the firms I was applying for asked for samples of my Powerpoint presentations. I was actually...well, shocked. I had created countless presentations and marketing kits for many of the companies I worked for, and never in my wildest imaginations have I thought that these were technical or creative enough to warrant being included in my portfolio.

The pROSE Newbie Guide, which I created for the purpose of training facilitators for the Ragnarok Philippine Championships 2005, is the only one that I was able to salvage. In fact, it was only through sheer luck that my officemates still had a copy of it months after I resigned. I thought I wouldn't be able to get hold of it anymore. Thank goodness for officemates who are 3x the compulsive archivist that I am. When I contacted them for some of my works, they were able to unearth the newbie guide.

It's a shame that I wasn't able to save my marketing kits for Ragnarok and ROSE. And though I wasn't able to save my other presentations either, I suppose this one really does deserve to be in my portfolio. While I wasn't the one who did the art works (official ROSE Online artists did), the conceptualization of the presentation was truly mine. Meaning, I didn't use default Microsoft backgrounds, clipart and layouts like I did with my past presentations.
