Anyway, since we couldn't get our schedules together, MrsM and I decided to just set a lunch date at Greens, a vegetarian restaurant. Later, Rowena finally responded that she can join us after finishing up some errands. Then MrsM contacted Michelle L and invited her as well. It was my first time to meet Michelle L.
After our initial chikahan session, wherein we talked about ethical business practices (hehe), we proceeded to order.
The chocolate cake was kind of dry, though.
All of the desserts listed are eggless, so unless that's cream cheese frosting on top of the carrot cake, I believe the sweets are vegan.
Would I come back here? Most definitely! It's not everyday you get to fill your stomach with such yummies without the painful aftereffects. See, whenever I gorge myself on high protein meals, I end up with acid reflux and an uncomfortably bloated stomach. While we were all very full at the end of our lunch, we did not feel like we needed to throw up so we could breathe. In fact, we felt very satisfied. That's a good thing, right?
I just hope the desserts are complete by the time I return. I wanted to try their Caramel Custard (PhP30). I believe that would go well with the Dalandan Juice (PhP40) we ordered.
